🚀 Your next challenge

The Lead FinOps for Sodexo Benefits and Rewards entity will be responsible for developing, supporting and maintaining FinOps practice, policies, procedures and strategy including cost management best practices across all the Sodexo Benefits and Rewards entity.

He/She will support all Cloud stakeholders to understand their costs and align their Cloud usage with the Business expectations to maximize the value created. He/She will also facilitate new FinOps culture specially around Cloud solutions.

The Lead FinOps role is key, strongly relational.

He/She will be in contact with Cloud technical teams as well as Application owners, project leaders, customer support teams, financial teams and Cloud Regional Partners. This role will report to Global Director of Foundations & Platforms and will cooperate with the FinOps community, fully integrated with the Sodexo FinOps strategy.

You will help collecting and analysing data to provide financial insights critical to the success of our Foundations and Platforms organization, with a heavy focus on cloud.

You will work with a wide range of stakeholders to promote a culture of cost accountability and awareness for PPL’s cloud consumption.

This role will provide financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting, consumption analysis including KPIs, showback, analytics and capacity.

The ideal candidate will thrive in becoming an expert in Cloud optimization and providing value by helping Sodexo Benefits and Rewards to save money and demonstrate the ROI our Cloud resources.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The FinOps Lead will have the following Job Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to support Global & regional Projects to propose FinOps optimizations during Design phase as well as during RUN phase. He/she will challenge application Tiering, sizing, Azure services selection and licenses mode to align business expectation with the Azure services, identifying and proposing cost optimizations creating value for the Business
  • Support new FinOps patterns and push for continuous improvement of FinOps practices in Sodexo
  • Contribute to validation and usage of FinOps Reporting & Tooling
  • Contribute to the improvement of FinOps efficiency in Project and RUN Processes by sharing difficulties and potential optimizations.
  • Report his activity into proposed tools (Azure DevOps…)
  • Create and document FinOps best practices aligned with Sodexo strategy to ensure proper training/awareness for the cloud engineers, cloud architects and developers community

Additionally, the Lead FinOps will be responsible for the following points:

  • Be the main point of contact globally for FinOps discussions and assessment on global/regional platforms
  • Collaborate with architecture, finance, develop
  • Support end to end financial control on Foundations & Platforms area (licencing on cloud and SaaS services)
  • Process engineering to establish new processes and improve existing processes with a metrics driven approach
  • Building and promoting financial observability as well as optimization patterns
  • Creating monthly dashboards reporting the impacts of the FinOps practices

  • Experience in process engineering to establish new processes and improve existing processes with a metrics driven approach
  • Azure Cloud fundamentals Background
  • Azure Services knowledge
  • Excel
  • Azure DevOps (Plus)
