Job Purpose:
The Regional Infrastructure & Platforms Manager LATAM is responsible for the overall coordination and support of Global and Regional infrastructure initiatives across the region.
The Regional Infrastructure & Platforms Manager, working closely with the IT & Payment regional VP’s, regional BRS Cyber security manager, local IT Directors, Infrastructure managers and regional 3rd parties, will be instrumental in on-boarding countries in the journey to the Cloud, the adoption of the global solutions/platforms defined by the Platforms and Foundations Competence Centre and supporting the implementation of the TOM.
Main Responsabilities:
- Lead / coordinate implementation of standard IT framework & tools defined by Platform & Foundations competence centre across all LATAM countries including local DC’s migration to Azure
- Regional ambassador: Must ensure that the Infra Manager or IT Director of each country is engaged in the different regional infrastructure, cloud and platforms transformation initiatives
- Work closely with the countries to provide support and verify the guidelines implementation, co-defining local project specific solution based on standards when needed
- Driving the creation and continuous management/evolution of LATAM technical experts teams
- Provide guidance and foster countries migrating local infrastructures to Azure or central DC`s as well as supporting the creation of plans to decommission key assets
- Support transformation program including adoption of ITIL Processes in service management / service delivery activities
- Track, manage and support evolution of global initiatives to be applied in countries

- Monitor and manage all KPI based performance, spotting trends and ensuring the highest level of quality of service
Additionally, the Regional Infrastructure & Platforms Manager – LATAM will be responsible for the following points:
- Be the main point of contact within his / her region for functional discussions, technical discussions, and risk assessment on those global platforms
- Supporting the countries within his/her region on the prioritization of the different projects to ensure correct support from global resources when required
- Drive the evolution of the global/regional platforms and infrastructures by coordinating and reporting findings to SPI cloud and application architects and Group IT cloud architects
- Drive issues and problem management related with network, infrastructures, cloud or global solutions with Group IT teams
- Ensure an accurate assets management is performed in his region
Required experience:
- At least 5 years managing IT Infrastructures with Cloud platforms on an international / multi-national environment.
- At least 5 years of experience related to infrastructure management (virtualization, infrastructure, migrations and maintenance)
- Global understanding of networking (IP, switching, security)
- Azure Cloud skills around services and infrastructures is key
- Valuable experience in Cloud FinOps to ensure the most efficient way of using cloud services
- Project Management experience
- Experience managing multiskilled teams
- Very good IT knowledge adopting new technologies in existing environments
- Knowledgeable in ITIL methodology
- Infrastructure monitoring tools: Datadog, Dynatrace, NewRelic, Nagios
- DevOps practices / principles, especially knowledge of our CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps,Terraform, Gitlab)
