What does an Infrastructure Operations – DevOps/finops engineer do at SPIE Belgium ICS?Our teams support and facilitate the digital transformation of our corporate and enterprise customers all over Belgium. SPIE Belgium ICS designs, operates and integrates tailored ICT solutions in the areas of Workspace, IT Security, DataCenter & Cloud, Printing & Document Management and IP Connectivity.As an Infrastructure Operations – DevOps/finops engineer for the ICS Division of SPIE Belgium, you deliver our ICT solutions to our customers. You will advise and provide quality technical expertise to our customersthrough our managed services, projects and consultancy.In which areas will you outperform?Our client is deploying more and more in the public cloud.As DevOps/finops engineer, you will assis the operations team to support this journey to the cloud by helping / supporting different team to integrate the cloud best practice like container, ci/CD/pipeline.Support of rollout of automation and infrastructure as code Support of deployment of Finops tool and processesThis position will have an impact on how our client will consume and operate the public cloud ProfileRequirements

  • You understand the development workflow
  • You have general knowledge to be able to understand code written in Java, C#, PHP, …
  • You can work with modern GIT strategies (branches, pull requests, …)
  • You have a good understanding of Kubernetes as a container orchestration platform
  • You can read and change Helm charts
  • You have working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, …)
  • Experience with infra as code concepts and working knowledge of tools like packer, TerraForm, Ansible are a plus
  • Scripting languages for DevOps like Bash, Python, PowerShell
  • Azure, Hyper-V, VMware control planes knowledge is a plus
  • Understanding/Having working knowledge of Policy-as-Code like Azure Policies is a plus

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent based on experience
  • At least 3 years’ experience

  • You have a high level of organizational sensitivity and are stress resistant
  • Languages: NL/FR/EN
