Assess and improve on existing Cloud practice processes within the organisation (e.g. Creating Playbooks and Operational Runbooks that benefits the Pre-Sales & Sales/Project Management/Engineering team)
Analyze the Cloud spend across the organisation and recommend cost optimization strategies. Work with the respective stakeholders to bring this into practice
Investigate any cost fluctuations, harmful trends or unused resources and determine how can we reduce such spend or alleviate the issue
Build a customizable dashboard with the required metrics using Cloud Native services (e.g. AWS QuickSight, Google Cloud monitoring dashboard)
Understand our current Cloud partnerships contracts and programmes and how we can leverage on them to maximize business value for the organisation
Track progress towards contractual commitments and promote efficient spending of Cloud
Organize joint go-to-market activities with our strategic partners to promote our FinOps Services and Advisory
Serve as a point of escalation with Cloud vendors on any issues that arise and drive those issues to resolution
Advocate for FinOps practices within the organisation
Prepare reports and have regular cadences with the FinOps Team
Prepare FinOps outreach materials to promote conversation (helped out in Cloud related events)
Discuss on streamlining FinOps Strategy and Governance within the Organisation
Account Management
Onboarding of new accounts to the Cloud, serve as first point of contact for Cloud related queries
Requirements:
Degree in Technology/ Business/ Marketing
Business-minded and capable of speaking to strategic growth.
Strong analytical skills
Prior knowledge in Cloud infrastructure and FinOps (e.g. Cloud related certifications, FinOps certification)
