Cloud FinOps Analyst

he client is looking for a Cloud FinOps Analyst:

A FinOps analyst is a professional who specializes in managing and optimizing cloud costs for an organization. They work as part of a team to implement and maintain FinOps practices and methodologies, with a focus on analyzing cloud usage and spending data to identify areas for cost optimization.

Responsibilities:

Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and cloud services

Knowledge of cloud pricing schemes

Strong understanding of enterprise licensing offerings from Microsoft and Amazon

Experience with native and 3rd party Azure and AWS cost management tools

High proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Power BI, Excel/Power Query

Qualifications:

Strong presentation skills

Thoroughness and attention to detail

Fundamentals/Foundation certification in Azure and AWS

FinOps certification

Experience and certification in Agile project management is a plus.
