As a member of Nokia Digital Office- Enterprise Compute & Cloud Services, you will be part of a team that is redefining IT and shaping the

future of Nokia and our digital and data center optimization transformation.

The Enterprise Compute & Cloud Services team ensures the stability, availability, and high performance of the infrastructure that serves Nokia’s entire workforce and upholds the technology for almost every single interaction of the company’s business. You will be joining a team of highly skilled, enthusiastic, and passionate engineers working in this leading-edge and constantly changing space.

 

What you will learn and contribute to

 

The Enterprise Compute and Cloud Services – Technology & Service Portfolio Head will have a deep understanding of the latest technology solutions from partners and vendors and be able to develop proposals to improve quality and optimize cost. The candidate should have solid guide skills and experience managing a team of technical professionals.

The Technology & Service Portfolio Head will develop, document, and automate the service portfolio in this role. The successful candidate will drive portfolio (including new technologies) automation and ensure the team meets key business goals. This position requires practical knowledge of automation, distributed systems, operations, security concepts, and cloud technologies. Given that the cloud space is constantly evolving, the drive to apply and learn new technologies will be another key asset.

As part of the team, you will:

  • Build and maintain relationships with diverse sets of customers that use the platform which will be equally critical to ensure the business units are successful.
  • Develop and maintain a requirement funnel from the Enterprise Compute and Cloud Services (EC&CS) customers (app owners/Business Groups) towards EC&CS
  • Develop, publish, and maintain a roadmap to address customer requirements and changing application landscape
  • Assess technology solutions offered by vendors from a cost and service quality improvement perspective
  • Develop and document the EC&CS portfolio and drive portfolio automation in terms of ordering, provisioning, and delivering services
  • Be a culture carrier and drive key architectural themes across technology and the organization; this would include, automation, DevOps, FinOps, SecOps, CloudOps, Agile, and product-driven cloud design.

 

 

Your skills and experience

 

You have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field but a Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field is preferred.
  • Cloud Certification, Google Professional Cloud Architect preferred (AWS and Azure Cloud Architect certification also accepted)
  • 10+ years of experience in technology management roles, managing a team of technical professionals
  • Deep infrastructure expertise: cloud, networking, security, computing, storage, data protection, authentication, entitlements,
  • Concrete record of implementing Cloud services in a variety of distributed computing environments

It would be nice if you also had: 

  • Deep understanding of the latest technology solutions from partners and vendors
  • Experience in developing and implementing service portfolios and roadmaps as well as experience in staying ahead of industry trends and applying industry best practices to enterprise roadmaps and challenges
  • Experience in driving portfolio automation
