Technology Strategy Consultant (ITFM FinOps) – ICH Europe

In this role, you will work at the intersection of IT, Finance and Strategy, supporting clients in building transparency, improving decision-making and driving real business outcomes from technology spend.

You will be involved in:

• Supporting IT Finance / TBM / FinOps transformations for large organizations
• Conducting assessments of IT cost transparency and IT financial management maturity, and defining actionable improvement roadmaps
• Designing and improving IT cost models, service costing and allocation mechanisms (showback / chargeback)
• Helping clients implement or optimize tools such as Apptio to enable better visibility and governance
• Facilitating workshops with stakeholders across IT and Finance to align on priorities, challenges and solutions
• Translating complex financial and technology data into clear insights and recommendations for decision-makers
• Supporting the development of governance, processes and ways of working in IT Finance / FinOps areas
• This is a strategic, client-facing role focused on shaping how organizations manage technology value.

Here’s What You’ll Need

• 2-5 years of experience in IT Finance, TBM, FinOps or related areas
• Understanding of IT cost structures, budgeting, forecasting and IT finance processes
• Experience working in consulting, transformation projects or cross-functional environments
• Ability to connect business, finance and technology perspectives
• Strong communication skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders
• Analytical thinking and ability to structure complex problems
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel (storytelling + structured analysis)

Nice to have

• Experience with Technology Business Management (TBM) or FinOps frameworks
• Exposure to tools such as Apptio or other IT cost management solutions
• Experience in designing cost allocation models
• Familiarity with cloud cost management concepts
• Relevant certifications (e.g. FinOps, TBM)
