Cloud Billing Specialist (Fixed Term Contract)

The Cloud Billing Specialist is responsible for planning and managing the organization’s cloud budgets, tracking costs, and ensuring compliance with the allocated budget. This involves the monitoring of expenses, creation of financial reports, and suggestion of cost-saving measures.

What we expect from you:

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud (GCP), and Amazon Web Services (AWS), including understanding their billing models and cost management tools
• Knowledge of FinOps solutions and best practices for cloud spending optimization
• Experience in IT procurement, contract management, and vendor relationship management
• Solid analytical skills for interpreting financial data
• Proficiency in report writing and record-keeping
• A bachelor’s degree in a related technical or business discipline
• Experience in cloud financial management, with a focus on budgeting, cost reporting, and optimization for AWS, Azure, or GCP platforms
• Full proficiency in English

Your tasks will include:

• Manage billing for various Cloud Platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP, and others)
• Oversee the planning and management of the organization’s cloud budgets
• Monitor and track cloud-related costs to ensure adherence to the budget
• Generate comprehensive reports regarding cloud expenses
• Drive the implementation of cost-saving measures for optimized cloud spending
• Liaise with Veeam teams to promote cloud cost optimization
• Document issues, track progress, update the knowledge base, and handle requests from end users and colleagues
• Assist in the creation and implementation of cloud financial policies and procedures
• Support the procurement process by reviewing contracts, managing internal order processes, and handling contract renewals
• Ensure accuracy in recording and reporting all cloud-related financial transactions
• Participate in other department-driven projects and initiatives
