We are looking for a cloud savvy person, able to quickly understand various architectures and business stakes, and able to animate a distributed community.
Your work will have very concrete outcomes and observable value.
You will:
- Monitor the cloud expenses on a daily basis using available tools (AWS Cost Explorer, Cudos, Splunk, custom reports, Datadog) and follow up the global budget
- Perform common activities, such as reservations
- Interact on a daily basis with corporate and local teams on cost and architecture optimizations
- Animate the global Cloud & FinOps community, and keep pushing the FinOps duties to regions/BUs
- Interact with the cloud suppliers Technical Account Managers and Solutions Architects about technical improvements, roadmap, tickets escalation, ….
- Maintain custom scripts used for FinOps (AWS Lambda)
- Help carrying out the cloud roadmap (transverse projects follow-up, process improvement, PoC, …)
- Extend the FinOps processes to GCP and various SaaS applications
- Keep improving our procedures / documentations / KB
- Participate in team’s tech watch effort

Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
- 3+ years of experience with cloud environments and modern tooling
- Experience in software programming (especially Python, Javascript, service-oriented architectures, event-driven architectures, AWS services and framework)
Technical & FinOps skills
- Perfect knowledge of all AWS discount mechanisms and billing process
- Familiar with financial wording and concepts (YTD, YoY, Forex, amortization, …)
- Technical skills
- Good understanding of all AWS services (certification required)
- Familiar with the AWS Console / API / SDK
- Ability to drill into the details of a technical architecture, and challenge the design
- Technical background (operations and/or software development)
- Familiar with modern tooling (Google Workspace, GitLab, CI/CD, Terraform, …)
- Ability to maintain scripting using AWS serverless components
Soft skills
- Fluent English and French
- Good oral and written communication skills
